	ASDB.NET This is the home of the Advanced Starship Design Bureau, which seeks to serve as a resource for technical information on the Federation's Star Fleet.
	MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM--HIGH FRONTIER The purpose is simple: detail the Real Science behind the science fiction, giving a general overview of the physical aspects of Gundam world and the scientific speculations and fact upon which it is based. (OK, I admit, I'm biased here--this site is done by my husband!)
*SPECULATIVE ROMANCE SITES*
	ROMANCE AND BEYOND MAGAZINE The most excellent magazine of speculative romantic fiction. Highly recommended if you enjoy romance in your SF, F, Horror, etc. In 2001, my story "His Small Sacrifice" won third place in their annual contest. As luck would have it, the mag ceased publication though are going to publish an annual anthology. No word whether my story made the anthology or not.
	SCIENCE FICTION ROMANCE (NEWSLETTER) Dedicated to reporting on the SF Romance field, covering the spectrum from straight science fiction / fantasy novels with romantic subplots to works where the romance is the main subplot or complication. They publish a monthly newsletter (which is archived online) and have an extensive list of resources ranging from author lists to publishers. They also hand out the annual Sapphire Awards.
	SHADES OF ROMANCE An on-line magazine (paying market) dedicated to the discussion and promotion of romance authors/books that feature authors/characters of color.
	ROMANTIC SCIENCE FICTION & FANTASY NOVELS Reader resource on SF, Fantasy, and Horror novels with strong romance genre appeal.

	BROAD UNIVERSE Broad Universe is an organization with the primary goal of promoting science fiction, fantasy, and horror written by women.
	CARL BRANDON SOCIETY The Carl Brandon Society is dedicated to addressing the representation of people of color in the fantastical genres such as science fiction, fantasy and horror. They aim to foster dialogue about issues of race, ethnicity and culture, raise awareness both inside and outside the fantastical fiction communities, promote inclusively in publication/production, and celebrate the accomplishments of people of color in science fiction, fantasy and horror.
	FUTURISTIC, FANTASY & PARANORMAL The special interest chapter of the Romance Writers of America (see below). They sponsor contests, have a list of other links, etc.
	ROMANCE WRITERS OF AMERICA (RWA) The professional organization for Romance Writers. Speculative Romance is a growing field and because of that, I joined RWA in 2002, but I've allowed my membership to lapse.
	SCIENCE FICTION AND FANTASY WRITERS OF AMERICA (SFWA) The holy grail--the professional organization for SF/F writers. Someday...
	WILLAMETTE WRITERS The largest writer's organization in Oregon & one of the largest writer's orgs in the US. I've been a member for several years and enjoy the local meetings when I actually drag my carcass to one.
